Event date: 3 December
Event time: 10 am
Ellie will be sharing her knowledge of working with Higher Education Institutions as part of the Guild conversations programme. The programme aims to equip the artist-led sector with tools and resources by connecting them with artists and arts facilitators.
How do artists and higher education institutions work together? What are the possible issues that could arise? Ellie will discuss firstly the routes in for artists and what potential challenges could crop up.
This session is an hour-long and provides an overview of some different models for working with Universities and students and aims to open up and offer transparency to what can sometimes feel like an opaque and confusing process. The group will address the challenges faced by independents working with large institutions and some ways to mitigate these.
The workshop will take place Thursday 3 December, 10 am – 11 am.
