Haymaking at Beckett Street Cemetery
This event will demonstrate a carbon neutral method for looking after our green spaces, using just hand tools and good old fashioned elbow grease!
Traditional grassland management & haymaking will be done between 11AM – 3PM on the 3rd of July.
It will be done at Beckett Street Cemetery, so come along and try your hand at some old school scything and haystack making!
If you can’t make the full event, please come down at 1PM to see a fun demonstration and have a go at the haystack making part of the session.
