Social Practice Surgery is a series of continually developing, live(ly) conversations and resources facilitated by artists Dan Russell and Lady Kitt. The project sets out to support people who are experiencing challenging/complex circumstances, resulting from working in socially engaged ways.
Social Practice Surgery is the result of openness and generosity by many artists and organisations, who have shared their stories, ideas, experiences and resources with each other, and us, over the last two years.
About the artists
Kitt and Dan are people who do art with people and have developed this project to support anyone who feels this describes some (or all) of their work/life ( this could include, but is not limited to, socially engaged practitioners/community artists/participatory artists/organisations/facilitators/producers).
