Taking place in the Project Space at Patrick Studios, artist and researcher Andrea Thoma will be joined by lecturer, artist and musician Kevin Laycock to discuss the connection of abstraction with contemporary painting.
During the conversation they will be discussing abstraction in painting, Kevin’s curation projects surrounding historical British abstract painting, relations between different media and intermedia and the relationship between image, sound and music.
The conversation will be taking place from 6pm in the Project Space at Patrick Studios.
You will also be able to view paintings, film and photography by Andrea who will be hosting the closing night of her exhibition Colour Folds and Other Things: the Painted, Photographed and Filmed in the Project Space from 13th-20th July.
