Applications are open to join a thriving community of artists based in South Leeds. Barkston House is home to 40 studio spaces and a dedicated ceramics facility that houses a dynamic and thriving hub of creative activity. 3 studio spaces are available within a semi-open-plan working environment. The spaces are suitable to a wide range of practices. We are looking for artists who are committed to dedicating time to their practice and welcome applications from those who value being part of a community of artists & makers.

BARKSTON CERAMIC STUDIOS

Applications are open for one shared studio space. We welcome applications from those with an interest and practice in ceramics and who value being part of a community of makers. The facility is aimed at artists who have trained in ceramics or plan to subsidise their making through workshop teaching and participation. It is also open to artists who want to access ceramics facilities as part of their general practice.

It would work well as a combined space of public engaged space on the ground floor and workspaces on the 1st floor.
