In December 2017 the public had the chance to explore the work that David Armes had been producing in residency at 130 Vicar Lane since September of the same year.
Back in October 2018, we spoke with Drew Caines, a sculptural ceramicist who was creating in our Barkston House studios.

With a permanent home set-up at Patrick Studios and several festivals under their belt East Street Arts entered into a period of incredible and diverse activity.
In the lead up to Christmas 2016, East Street Arts teamed up with the creator of The Weather Cafe for Christmas With Us, a unique event revealing personal stories, highlighting the beauty and the difficulty of the Christmas season.
With Patrick Studios now up and running, and artists filling the space, East Street Arts had a permanent home from which to expand activity.

Curated by artist Rachel Hinds, The Human Condition Project at Patrick Studios in August 2016 explored the mystery of the human condition, interrogated our ‘ways of seeing’ and the deep fallacies of human perception.
In response to the inaccessibility of a Grayson Perry tapestry exhibition at Temple Newsam, Leeds this exhibition of textile art by disabled artists based in Yorkshire was created in 2014.
