East Street Arts has been working with artists and arts practitioners to deliver a range of arts and adult learning programmes to specific and diverse communities and audiences. Over the past 28 years, we have delivered thousands of hours of learning in communities through arts engagement and adult learning programmes. In the past two years and throughout the pandemic, we have focused our learning activities on the work we were doing through the Neighbourhood Plan and with the project specific activities especially working with our closest neighbours.
The Creative You! project will support unemployed and inactive residents living primarily in the Mabgate, Burmantofts, Lincoln Green neighbourhoods and surrounding areas of Harehills and Gipton to find pathways to employment using arts engagement activities, support, mentoring and advice, alongside the development of a range of lifelong skills to make a successful transition into the labour market.
And we need two new recruits to help us deliver this vision.
