Designation as a neighbourhood forum will enable the group to commence preparation of the Mabgate, Lincoln Green and Burmantofts Neighbourhood Plan.
In accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Localism Act 2011 and the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), the council is now publicising the application to those who live, work or carry out business in the area.
The neighbourhood forum application includes a map of the designated neighbourhood area, a copy of the written constitution, a list of membership, a statement of reasons as to why the application meets legislative requirements, and the contact details of a member of the forum, for which the council has express consent to make available online.
