Launching at 34 Boar Street, Leeds on 29th November 2018 with an open studio event (giving the public the chance to use the equipment) and culminating with a pilot broadcast between the 4th and 8th December 2018, the station broadcast the best music, arts and culture from Leeds to the Cosmos. Expect music ranging from jazz to reggae to techno, expect discussions, expect interviews, expect performance and spoken word.
Activity also included a DJ workshop on 29th November, a beginners session using CDJ2000s and a Music Production workshop on 30th November teaching the basics of sampling, drum sequencing and melodies using a Native Instrument Machine.
The activity and the broadcast not only reflected the community but also acted as a catalyst to unlock musical and artistic talent from the people living there.
